February 1990 – The First Season Ticket Brochure… Awesome!

This is probably my favorite piece. Probably not all that rare, but the content was wide ranging, the materials varied, and the design was phenomenal. The promotion of the games’ stars was very appealing and I always wished the Sharks utilized more of that in the early going. I mean, how much cooler would the 1st year season tickets have been if they featured photos opposing players? Or at least the logos of the visiting teams?

The elements in this piece included:

a. Envelope (“Hockey History is Now in Your Hands”)

b. Brochure: Stitch and trim, full bleed, with gatefold and fold out poster

c. Insert: Die cut, trifold map of the Cow Palace seating config.
